Pediatric Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care for children in a clinical setting. This role requires a commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate parents and guardians regarding care and treatment plans.
• Document patient interactions and care in compliance with standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as necessary.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, scheduled for 36 hours with a guaranteed 24 hours. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Pediatric Nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications.
• No hits on state licensure to practice.
• Current driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
