Pediatric Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, with a minimum of 24 hours guaranteed. Weekends and holidays required, with float assignments as per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for children in a qualified facility. The nurse will be responsible for delivering compassionate, evidence-based pediatric nursing care and ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management and promotion.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months pediatric nursing experience with recent practice in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Life support certifications (BLS and PALS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
