Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehabilitation department. The RN will provide specialized care to patients with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from stroke, aneurysm, post-operative surgical procedures, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and generalized debility.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of laboratory results and medication reconciliation
• Conduct patient health questionnaires, including allergies and vital signs
• Manage dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
• Perform capillary blood sampling and specimen labeling
• Conduct telephone triage, including pharmacy calls and patient refill requests

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehab experience preferred
• Active RN license required at the time of submission
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience mandatory
• Previous charge experience highly desirable
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered
