Labor and Delivery RN - Critical Access Hospital

This position operates on 12-hour day shifts, from 7 AM to 7 PM, and includes every third weekend along with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery RN will be responsible for providing exceptional care in labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother and baby care at a Critical Access Hospital. The role requires a compassionate approach while ensuring the safety and wellness of patients throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and assist in delivery.
• Postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and post-delivery options.
• Document patient information and care interventions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
