12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, every 3rd weekend with Holiday Rotation.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a Critical Access Hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive care in the labor and delivery unit, as well as post-partum and mother and baby care. You'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their newborns during their critical moments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and assess patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Support post-partum recovery and educate mothers on infant care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
