Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg/Tele Unit will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assess their condition, and ensure smooth coordination with other health disciplines. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and nursing needs while coordinating care activities.
• Develop written individualized care plans, including teaching needs and discharge planning.
• Administer direct nursing care, medications, and practice infection control.
• Communicate changes in patient conditions to the Charge Nurse/Clinician.
• Document patient and family education within the medical records.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance nursing practices.
• Engage in floating duties as needed to support other units including ER Hold and occasionally ICU/CCU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
