Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Day Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8-Hours (08:00 - 16:30) with no weekends required and some Saturday shifts.

Job Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, working with neuro/ortho patients and medically complex cases. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy interventions aimed at achieving optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions and adjust plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and treatment goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records using Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Alaska or a compact license.
• Experience with conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and cognitive disorders.
