Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week (8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00), with some weekend shifts required, including potential Saturdays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and protocols within an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid Alaska Physical Therapist license (pending licenses accepted).
• Demonstrated experience with diverse patient diagnoses including spinal conditions, post-operative care, and cognitive disorders.
