Registered Nurse - Pediatric Psychiatry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Child and Adolescent unit, which caters to patients aged 5 to 18 experiencing acute mental health crises. This role focuses on stabilization through a variety of group offerings such as Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills, alongside psychopharmacological interventions. Our RNs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish and achieve patient goals, ensuring safe, effective, and therapeutic care.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 36 or 48 hours per week with a daytime, evening, and night rotation, including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities as needed by the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS RN License
• 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
