Registered Nurse - Inpatient Addiction Rehab

Schedule

This position requires 5 shifts of 8 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with expectations of covering holiday shifts and every other weekend. Scheduled weekends off will only be considered with prior arrangements for coverage.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be trained to take on charge nurse responsibilities and may float to similar units within the hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive care and support to patients in the Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Understand and apply charge nurse responsibilities effectively.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide patient education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state nursing license.
• Completion of necessary health and safety vaccinations and tests, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, varicella, TB, and Influenza.
• Completion of the Centralus Skills Checklist and Core Competency Exam.
• Submission of a professional resume and two references is required.
