12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a flex unit serving both floor and step-down patients, capable of managing diverse medical diagnoses. The unit is currently under construction with plans to open in the first quarter of 2026, featuring a 29-bed capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a 6 patient (med-surg) or a 3 patient (stepdown) ratio.
• Titrate drips as per physician orders for medications such as Heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, and pain management medications.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors available 24/7.
• Work alongside Clinical Associates to ensure optimal patient care with a 1:10 CA ratio.
• Monitor patients using Phillips telemetry equipment through a remote telemetry surveillance center.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have EPIC experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Experience in stepdown and med-surg nursing preferred but not mandatory.
