Schedule

3x12-Hour Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Must be available for up to 2 weekends per month, with floating required to MedSurg based on patient volume. Holiday coverage is also expected.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IMCU Float Pool RN to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in the Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), functioning as a step-down/progressive care unit. The RN will manage telemetry monitoring and care for patients who may require a higher level of care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions while managing telemetry.
• Administer IV medications and manage common drips including Heparin and Nitroglycerin.
• Provide care to pediatric patients as needed, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient flow and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of IMCU/telemetry experience.
• 2+ years of travel nursing experience is required.
• Active NC or compact RN license is mandatory.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Recent experience with EPIC EMR is essential.
