Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with their needs, goals, and physician direction. You will be responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for an effective return to community activities. Your role will also involve serving as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and evaluation.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan actively.
• Adhere to regulatory agency guidelines and maintain professional licensure.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient and employee safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
