Registered Nurse - Oncology / Step Down

This is a night shift position, working 12-hour shifts, on a 3-day schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in oncology and step-down care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing patients with heavy sickle cell complications and be chemo certified. This position aims to provide exceptional patient care while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continually.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology or step-down settings.
• Current RN license and Nursys license verification.
• Chemo certification preferred.
• Complete work history/resume, skills checklist, references, and certification card.
