Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, with no call requirements.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit provides high-quality care for expectant mothers. This position requires adherence to unit guidelines and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Assist with advanced procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.
• Ensure proper fetal monitoring using various equipment such as Novii and IUPC.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain optimal patient ratios and quality of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license with 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Competency in EFM and C-Section circulation is required.
• Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV unit is preferred.
