This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts - anticipate in a 6 week schedule to do 3 weeks of each:

• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The role includes a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to patient monitoring, IV management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Monitor and manage patients' telemetry and vital signs.
• Administer medications and follow up on responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and assist with the training of new staff as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA or Compact RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a telemetry or similar nursing unit preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
