Registered Nurse - ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU nurse to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intensive care nursing and be proficient in managing complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilator settings.
• Conduct nursing assessments and document patient progress in the Epic charting system.
• Provide support to interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to float to different ICU floors as needed.
• Must be able to care for COVID patients.
