Travel MS/Tele RN Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, working 3 out of 12 hour shifts.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care through the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care while maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. The position requires the ability to delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in various departments.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Supervise and delegate patient care activities to nursing staff as appropriate.
• Adapt to float across multiple facilities and departments as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
