MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and maintain skills through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision for assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Anticipate patient needs and plan accordingly to ensure safe care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required
