Med/Surg Tele RN - 13-20 Week Contract

This position requires day shifts, specifically 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit. This role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and manage infusion therapies.
• Perform assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Assist in the coordination of care among interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
