Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide winter coverage for an 18-week assignment. Candidates with 13-week availability will also be considered. This role requires a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and execute care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the designated system.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification to be obtained prior to start.
• One recent reference from a managerial role in the specialty applying for is required.
