Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: Wednesday to Saturday from 9 PM to 7 AM, with additional work required during major holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to protocols and ensuring patient safety. The role requires proficiency with EPIC charting systems and the capability to provide care for COVID patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures on patients as per established protocols.
• Observe and practice necessary safety standards, including isolation precautions and proper use of PPE.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required.
• Start peripheral IVs for procedures involving contrast materials.
• Document procedures accurately in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Experience with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment is preferred.
• Holds a valid state license to practice Radiologic Technology.
