7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 3 shifts per week with a requirement of 2 weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg - Post-Op unit provides compassionate and attentive care to patients and their families. The nurse will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care, including bedside shift reports and family inclusion in care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Manage IVs, surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Perform basic wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience required.
