Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position with a focus on total patient care. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated nurse to deliver high-quality care while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system (Cerner).

Schedule

This position is for a day shift, specifically from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a requirement to work every other weekend. No call or block scheduling is anticipated.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Completion of all ALC modules.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical nursing setting is preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.
