Registered Nurse - Night Shift Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with every third weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to join our team on the night shift. The candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring for a variety of medical conditions. This role may involve caring for COVID patients, and the facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' telemetry and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care to patients with conditions such as metabolic disorders, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, and respiratory conditions.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Must hold valid RN license with no license hits accepted.
• Certifications: NIHSS and BLS are required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is preferred.
• Ability to float as needed and provide care for peritoneal dialysis patients.
