Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a designated stroke unit while floating between various units as needed. The RN will manage neurological conditions and post-surgical care for telemetry patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to standardized protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Utilize the NIH scale to assess and document patient conditions.
• Provide post-operative care for neurosurgical patients, ensuring optimal recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN, preferably in neurology or telemetry.
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is required.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, telemetry, and craniotomy care is preferred.
