NICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in providing specialized care to neonates, engaging in various responsibilities including but not limited to administering medications, monitoring patient status, and supporting families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate and support families regarding care procedures and neonate health.
• Perform and assist with various medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
• Current BLS and NRPS certifications required.
• Valid state RN license with a compact license preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
