Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (NICU RN) - Travel Position
Schedule
This position is for a Night 3x12-hour shift from 19:00 to 07:30. The schedule is flexible, with block scheduling approved if preferred.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-level care for critically ill neonates, including those as young as 23-24 weeks gestation. This role may require floating to other campuses and specialized care units, handling advanced technologies and medical procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and blood products.
- Oversee ventilator and oxygen management for neonates.
- Conduct high-risk delivery support and participate in neonatal surgeries.
- Manage central lines and PICC lines.
- Provide feeding tube care (bottle, breast, gavage).
- Participate in the care of neonates and infants, including those with complex medical conditions.
- Attend to therapeutic hypothermia through cooling and warming blankets.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU.
- Current RN license, honors compact license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with neonatal dosage calculations and ventilator management.
- Must be willing to float to different campuses as needed.
