NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required on a variable basis.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for neonates in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The position requires the ability to float between units, managing critical cases effectively and maintaining high standards of neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates with varying health conditions.
• Assist with the administration of medications and blood products.
• Perform critical procedures and assessments, including respiratory and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Support family education and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in NICU.
• Experience with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Certification in BLS and NRPS required.
• Proficient in the use of the Epic charting system.
