NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3 NICU

Schedule

AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level 3 NICU unit. The unit provides comprehensive care for neonates, managing a variety of ventilatory and respiratory support methods. The nurse will be responsible for caring for sick neonates and may also float to the Well Baby Nursery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for sick neonates using various ventilation techniques.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, ensuring prompt response to any changes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
