Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care for a diverse patient population while working within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and engage in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Charge RN experience is preferred.
• Must be able to pass the Pass Fail EKG exam required for all RNs.
