Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro tele and be comfortable floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro Telemetry Unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and neurological status of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on care and health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Neuro Telemetry or similar setting.
• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems preferred.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
