Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care by floating between various medical and surgical units. The role includes performing patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
• Float between Medical, Laulima (Surgical Acute), and Cardiovascular units as required.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and other medical equipment effectively.
• Maintain professional nursing practices and adhere to standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current Hawaii RN License is mandatory by the start of the assignment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.
