Registered Nurse - Neuro/Stroke

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7 PM - 7:30 AM) with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that you may be required to float between departments.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Neuro/Stroke care. Candidates must be comfortable with potential floating between various departments and may be required to be on call. This role requires adherence to strict background check standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Neuro/Stroke units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license with no disciplinary actions.
• Current life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
