Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule, working 4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing patients with various medical conditions and will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage patient care assignments and support nursing students as needed.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in South Carolina or a compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Epic experience is strongly preferred.
