Med/Surg RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x12-Hour Shifts, Nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12s will also be considered). Requires working every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with a sharp focus on patient care. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills in handling diverse patient needs within a supportive healthcare environment while maintaining safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for a patient load of 1:6 to 1:7.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete all assigned modules prior to the start date and attend required staff meetings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current South Carolina (SC) nursing license or Compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.
