Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in telemetry and neuro care to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring safety and comfort while closely monitoring their health status.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for individuals with neurological conditions and telemetry monitoring.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively, utilizing rapid response and code teams as necessary.
• Administer medications and provide care following established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform assessments and document patient information accurately using the required charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and respiratory therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support pre/post neurosurgery patients and handle a variety of neuro diagnoses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in a telemetry or neuro unit.
• Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Prior experience in a Level II trauma center and familiarity with neuro conditions preferred.
