Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

This position requires a night shift of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a rehabilitation hospital focusing on patients recovering from significant medical events or illnesses. Our facility offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, emphasizing family involvement and the use of advanced rehabilitation technologies to ensure patients regain their highest level of independence and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage and monitor patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, and brain injuries.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care.
• Support patient and family education throughout the recovery journey.
• Participate in rapid response teams and ensure effective communication within the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in rehabilitation or med-surg settings.
• Active RN license compliant with state or compact licensing requirements.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
• Preferred experience in long-term acute care settings.
