Travel Operating Room Circulator RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 06:30 AM - 03:30 PM, holidays required. Call rotation and floating to the Madill location will be required.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the care of patients in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works alongside Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other personnel to provide patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases.
• Communicate effectively with families and update physician preference cards.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Must possess state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
