Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Labor and Delivery RN to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to care for patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes including cervical assessments and fetal monitoring.
• Administer medications such as magnesium and Pitocin drips.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean sections and other procedures such as D&C and bilateral tubal ligations.
• Apply and manage uterine tamponade devices as needed for patient care.
• Provide care and support to antepartum patients during their stay.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience with intermittent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) is essential.
• Ability to circulate in Labor and Delivery Operating Room preferred.
