Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Nights)

Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM, 4 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team on a night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1. The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in managing labor and delivery situations, including the circulation of C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and labor delivery processes.
• Perform circulatory duties during C-sections.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during labor.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRPFM certifications.
• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• AWHONN certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is a plus.
