Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM with a variable schedule. Availability for blackout dates on 12/24 and 12/25 is mandatory.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical/telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a 45-bed facility with a patient ratio of 6:1. The RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment, monitoring, and support to patients across various needs, including wound care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and evaluate patients’ needs and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in wound care and telemetry management as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in medical/surgical or telemetry settings.
• Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status.
• Scrubs should be dark navy blue.
