Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical / Colorectal & Bariatrics

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A, 36 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Block scheduling can be requested but is not guaranteed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a Medical/Surgical unit specializing in Colorectal and Bariatric care. The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN with a strong background in acute care environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical setting.
• Conduct patient assessments and implement nursing interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress using EPIC charting.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN License is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Assignment Duration

This position is for a 16-week contract.
