Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

This position involves rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, requiring flexibility. The schedule includes weekends, with potential call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel position in a Level 1 Trauma setting. The ideal candidate should have substantial surgical experience across various specialties and be prepared for a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure effective and efficient care delivery.
• Maintain flexibility to rotate between different surgical specialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant.
• Respond to call duty within the required 30-minute response time.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, with preference given to candidates with 3 years of experience.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years.
• A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience in the last 3 years.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
