Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab Tech

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team. This contract position is focused on providing high-quality care within the electrophysiology lab, working alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation and device implants.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and effectively manage life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Provide support in the insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers.
• Conduct tilt table studies and utilize cardiac mapping technologies.

Schedule

This position requires a day shift schedule of 4x10 hours (07:00 - 18:00) with rotating call responsibilities. Please note that Wednesday's start time is adjusted to 07:00 due to staff education.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrophysiology.
• Current BLS, ACLS certification required.
• ARRT radiology tech license or WA Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist license is mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
