Certified Surgical Technologist - Seasonal Travel Position

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) for a seasonal travel position. The role involves providing surgical support in a dynamic operating room environment with a focus on elective surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure the availability of surgical instruments and supplies needed for surgery.
• Provide support to surgeons and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Participate in the transportation and positioning of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care CST hospital experience.
• Must have NBSTA and DORA Certifications.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Ortho/Spine and Cardiovascular (CV) procedures.
• Familiarity with OREMR systems, specifically Meditech / CPN.
