Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work specifically in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) on a night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be comfortable with high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the SICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the management of complex medical equipment and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of combined permanent experience in the SICU.
• Current Ohio or compact state RN license is required.
• Must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience in travel nursing is accepted.
• One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required.
