Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) & Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with rotating shifts. Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the SICU, including monitoring and assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty is required, with at least 18 months of recent SICU experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Travel experience is acceptable.
