Registered Nurse - Cardiac & Vascular Surgery

12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Southeast Heart & Vascular Institute, where you will provide exceptional care for cardiac and vascular surgery patients. This unit is renowned for its commitment to quality care and teamwork in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress and perform assessments.
• Administer medications and manage titrated drips for cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Facilitate communication with patients and families regarding care strategies and discharge plans.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience in cardiac and vascular care.
