Cardiac Clinic RN - Day Shift M-F - No on-call, weekends or holidays!

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize practical nursing principles and skills needed to provide quality patient care and treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments while utilizing various types of equipment for examination and procedures.
• Identify and analyze problems, prioritize issues, make confident quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• React calmly and effectively during emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required.
• Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Schedule

This position is for Day Shift, Monday through Friday.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
